Adapter writers will be writing ZipTie adapters to network devices. The ideal candidate looks like a network engineer that has used Perl to automate some of their management processes. XML experience will assist in the specifics of writing adapters as the adapters are a combination of Perl and XML. While Java experience is not a requirement for adapter development, it will prove useful when these individuals begin to move past adapter authorship down the road. The candidate should have at least 3 years experience in either network administration or software development. Requirements: Proficient in Perl. Good understanding of regular expressions. Good understanding of networking basics (protocols, network sniffers, etc.) Experience with Network Devices a plus (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.) Experience in XLM development (schemas, DOM, SAX, XSLT). Java experiences a plus. Familiar with unit testing. Familiar with NetworkAuthority or ZIPTie a plus. Apply this job
